TOMCSANYI is a contemporary womenswear brand based in Budapest. This playful and vibrant fashion label was born from a diploma project in 2012 and has since gained recognition, being discovered by trendsetter Susie Bubble. TOMCSANYI takes inspiration from local impressions and moments of everyday life in Hungary, particularly during the days of socialism.
Each collection is a colorful exploration of Hungarian identity, with prints that showcase the impacts of art, architecture, and industrial design from the 70s. While the patterns are bold and lively, the brand maintains a classical approach to tailoring, resulting in modern yet timeless collections. Sustainability is also at the core of TOMCSANYI's ethos.
They source from family-owned textile factories, use high-quality natural fabrics, and package their products in reusable dust bags.
