FilmIQ is a browser-based entertainment site offering free movie guessing games, daily film puzzles, and trivia for cinema fans. Its games are designed to test film knowledge in different ways, with no download or sign-up required to play. Players can identify movies from sound clips, stills, video, pixelated posters, or redacted plot summaries, and guess themes from film and television soundtracks.
Other challenges include a movie Wordle-style game, age-rating guesses, box-office comparisons, film trivia, and linking actors through shared movies. Daily Challenge introduces a new movie puzzle each day, while Endless Mode offers an ongoing challenge with five lives. FilmIQ also features multiplayer trivia, upcoming movie information, and the latest trailers.
Users can create and organize a personal Top 50 movie list. Optional accounts provide saved statistics, streaks, achievements, cloud saves, and access to global leaderboards. FilmIQ is presented as a project by Tom J Robb, with film data credited to TMDB, and can be played in a browser or added to a home screen
