Childhood Cancer Society

The Childhood Cancer Society (CCS) is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by pediatric cancer. Founded by Tommy Head, a former childhood leukemia patient, CCS was inspired by his transformative journey and his desire to offer hope and assistance to others. Established as a 501(c)(3) organization, CCS focuses on providing financial support, emotional encouragement, and resources to empower families during their difficult journeys with childhood cancer.

At the heart of CCS is Adventure Ted, a superhero bear who represents resilience and compassion, engaging children and families in a mission to inspire hope and camaraderie. Through various programs, including the Adventure Ted Challenge and other fundraising initiatives, CCS nurtures a community passionate about making a difference.

In addition to direct financial assistance, CCS also offers volunteering opportunities and has a dedicated store for those looking to support the cause. Together, they invite individuals and families to join them in their mission of love and support for those facing pediatric cancer.
