About Tom
Tom’s Planner is a cloud-based project planning tool that helps individuals and teams create, share, and manage Gantt charts without the complexity of traditional project management software. Designed for ease of use, it works through a drag-and-drop interface and requires no specialist training. Users can start with a template or build a schedule from scratch, then adjust task timelines, track progress, and switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views. Search and filtering tools help users navigate detailed plans, while task links support coordination across activities.
The service also offers AI-assisted Gantt chart creation based on a project description, as well as templates for uses such as construction, conferences, dissertations, weddings, and business planning. Teams can collaborate, and members invited to participate can use the tool for free; paid plans are available for users who create and share charts. Tom’s Planner supports importing projects from tools including Trello, Basecamp, Excel, and MS Project, and lets users export their data.
