About Tongan Health Society Inc
Tongan Health Society is dedicated to providing top-quality holistic healthcare and social services to the communities it serves, with a particular focus on people of Tongan descent in New Zealand. Led by CEO and medical director Dr. Glenn Doherty, the organization has achieved numerous accolades, including recognition for excellence in Rheumatic Fever Prevention and Overall Best Provider within the Alliance Health Plus PHO collective.
Tongan Health Society is also Cornerstone accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners for GPs in New Zealand and has completed Child Youth and Family (CYFS) accreditation. The society's Langimalie Integrated Family Health Centres offer a full spectrum of integrated care services based on Whanau Ora principles, aiming to improve the health and social outcomes for all New Zealanders. In addition, Tongan Health Society collaborates closely with other organizations and partners to continually innovate and improve its services, focusing on the wellbeing and health of the community
