Tongue Tie Kids

TongueTieKids is Agave Pediatrics’ program for assessing and treating tongue and lip ties in infants, children, and young people up to age 18. Developed under the direction of Dr. Rajeev Agarwal, the program takes an individualized, evidence-based and holistic approach, recommending procedures only when clinically necessary. Its multidisciplinary team includes pediatricians, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, speech pathologists and other specialists.

Services include consultations, in-house lactation support, feeding therapy and bodywork, as well as frenectomy procedures when indicated. The team supports families with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding guidance, exercises, wound care, pain-management information and follow-up after treatment. Procedures use a CO2 laser and are available at the Goodyear, Glendale and Chandler locations; consultations can be booked at any of the program’s five Arizona locations.

TongueTieKids also provides educational resources for families and healthcare professionals, alongside information about symptoms, research and aftercare. Its services address feeding concerns and other difficulties that may be associated with oral ties, while emphasizing careful assessment and compassionate support throughout the family’s care.
