Toni Odom is an author, activist, entrepreneur, speaker, journalist, and filmmaker whose work focuses on empowering Black women and promoting positive images and stories. As founder and CEO of Between Sisters, she is dedicated to women’s healing, unity, and activism. Her award-winning book, Sistahs N SistahHood, has been used as a university textbook and was named Best Non-Fiction of the Year by the Sister Circle Book Club.
Odom is also the owner of Savvy Social Media Agency, which helps businesses develop strategies and campaigns, and Restore Communications Group, offering public relations, publishing, and film production. Through Restore Films, she produced the award-winning webisode Ahshe and other projects. Her communications experience spans more than 30 years in reporting, journalism, radio, and consulting. Trained in mediation and crisis intervention, she has led seminars on self-esteem, race relations, conflict resolution, women’s issues, and Black history.
