To Tonka Bay Charters

Tonka Bay Charters is a family-owned luxury boat charter service offering private cruises on Lake Minnetonka. The company helps guests plan relaxing, memorable outings for weddings, family gatherings, corporate events, and other celebrations, including birthdays and bachelorette parties. Its team of captains and crew manages the details so guests can enjoy the lake and its scenery.

Charters take place aboard an open-bow Sea Ray SLX 400, which accommodates up to 20 guests and features spacious seating, a sound system, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Flexible booking options range from three to ten hours, allowing guests to cruise bays and coves or enjoy a sunset ride. The company states that its team is vetted, licensed, and insured, and that a typical charter includes a private boat, professional captain, fuel, and onboard amenities. Rates for a 20-person charter start at $450 per hour for the first four hours, then $350 per hour from the fifth hour. Tonka Bay Charters offers a personalized alternative to public cruises, with experiences tailored to each group.
