tontau Gmbh

Its electricity-free products use the natural capillary properties of certified, low-fired clay to release water gradually and directly to plant roots, helping reduce evaporation and avoid unnecessary watering. The company says its systems can use up to 70% less water than conventional watering methods, though actual savings depend on plants, soil, location and weather.

The range includes tontau ONE, a flexible vertical system suited to already planted beds and targeted watering, and tontau TWO, an underground horizontal system typically installed when preparing a bed for the season. Both connect to a hose and water reservoir, and can be used in garden beds, raised beds, greenhouses, pots and around shrubs. tontau also offers accessories such as hose clamps, moisture indicators and hose scissors, along with an online calculator to help plan system layouts and estimate requirements.
