Navigating Multiple Sclerosis is a personal wellness and information website sharing one individual’s experience managing multiple sclerosis through integrated care and Tai Chi-Qigong. Its content follows the author’s journey from facing fatigue, balance and cognitive challenges, and spinal stenosis-related back pain to developing a regular practice of gentle movement and meditative breathing. The site features articles and instructional material on Qigong warm-ups, Easy Tai Chi, T’ai Chi Kung, Tai Chi for health and wellness, movement descriptions, and the potential benefits of specific movements.
It also includes information about the author’s healthcare journey, integrated medicine, medical leave, and the people who supported their care. The author describes learning through weekly classes with instructor Don Fiore and practicing at home with instructional DVDs. Their account emphasizes persistence, gradual skill-building, and personal observations of changes in balance, mental clarity, coordination, and back pain.
Rather than presenting Tai Chi-Qigong as a substitute for medical care, the site offers a first-person perspective on incorporating practice into a broader approach to living with multiple sclerosis
