Connor's inspiration came from his frustration with mass-produced knives that were unfit for mission-specific tasks in the Marine Corps. He began designing blades to improve store-bought and military-issued tactical knives, drawing on his own experiences and input from his teammates and Army Ranger brother. The result was a family of quality knives that met the demands of operators and sportsmen/women worldwide.

As the brand grew, Toor Knives now has over 30 skilled craftsmen, engineers, machinists, and bladesmiths in their San Diego facility.
