About TOPAZ
TOPAZ is a think-tank founded by the Czech political party, TOP 09, in April 2012. The aim of TOPAZ is to disseminate conservative ideas to both party members and the general public. It also seeks to build on the activities previously coordinated by the TOP 09 Committee for Education.
To achieve its mission, TOPAZ engages independent experts to support discussions on nationwide social issues. They also collaborate with TOP09 expert committees, engage in fundraising, and prepare analytical and conceptual documents examining specific issues and proposing solutions. TOPAZ organizes conferences, seminars, and discussions between TOP 09 party members and the general public.
These activities promote discussions on the benefits of democracy, EU membership, and the values of conservative politics. With its commitment to informing and engaging the public, TOPAZ plays a crucial role in shaping political discourse in the Czech Republic
