TOPSoccer Saint Charles is a Missouri-based nonprofit providing inclusive recreational soccer for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. As a local program affiliated with US Youth Soccer’s TOPSoccer initiative, it adapts the game so athletes with diverse abilities can participate in a structured, safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment. The organization aims to help participants build confidence, form friendships, and experience the benefits of playing soccer.
The program is supported by adaptive coaches and volunteers, many of whom have experience working with people with different abilities. Its supporters include physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, and graduate students. Beyond soccer, TOPSoccer Saint Charles encourages community connection through activities such as visits from the local fire department and group outings to O’Fallon Hoots and St. Louis Ambush games.
Established in fall 2023, the 501(c)(3) charitable organization welcomes new athletes, volunteers, and donors. Its work is made possible in part through community support and sponsors, including Post 313 and Post 313 Varsity Soccer.
