Topten is an independent Swiss platform that helps households, businesses and property owners choose energy-efficient products. Operated by Topten GmbH in Zurich, it provides transparent, regularly updated comparisons of recommended products, making it easier to assess energy efficiency and environmental impact alongside price. Its goal is to encourage efficient purchasing through reliable information and attractive incentive programmes.

The platform covers a wide range of household and commercial equipment, including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, heat pumps, lighting, computers, televisions and professional cooling and coffee machines. It also features mobility options such as electric cars, e-bikes and electric utility vehicles, as well as building products and heating systems.

Alongside product lists, Topten offers practical buying guides, articles and downloads on energy use, technology and environmental topics. It also shares information about available subsidies for efficient household and commercial appliances, including programmes run by energy providers and local authorities. Topten works with partners such as energy suppliers, public agencies, environmental organisations, trade associations, retailers and installers to advance energy efficiency.
