About Torabhaig
Torabhaig Distillery is a distinguished producer of Single Malt Scotch Whisky, proudly situated on the Isle of Skye. As the second licensed distillery on the island, Torabhaig carries a rich heritage linked to its locale, utilizing the purest spring water sourced from the surrounding hills. The distillery is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century building, originally constructed with stone from a nearby castle, emphasizing its historical significance.
Since commencing operations in January 2017, Torabhaig has been dedicated to crafting robust island whisky, embodying the unique characters influenced by Skye's land, water, and climate. The distillery features traditional copper stills and wooden washbacks, ensuring a quality production process that respects traditional methods while allowing for future innovations. In addition to their exceptional whisky, Torabhaig offers a range of experiences, including guided tours of the distillery, merchandise, and whisky club memberships.
