Torc.Cfrc

Torc Community & Family Resource Centre is a welcoming community hub established in 2004 in Ballyspillane, Killarney, County Kerry. It serves families and individuals in Killarney Town, the wider Municipal District and parts of the Sliabh Luchra area. As part of Ireland’s Family & Community Services Resource Centre Programme, funded by Tusla, Torc works to strengthen families, foster community connections and respond to changing local needs.

The centre’s mission is to provide empowering, professional support in a safe and inclusive environment, with a commitment to transparency and accountability. Its services include high-quality childcare, family and parenting support, community development, therapeutic services, Meitheal and social prescribing. Torc also offers wellbeing programmes, activities, room hire and initiatives such as parent and toddler groups, Stay and Play, and life skills programmes. Through accessible services and community projects, the centre aims to build individual and collective capacity and positively support people across the community.
