Torch Treatment

Torch Treatment Center is a CARF-accredited behavioral health facility licensed by the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration. Serving Maryland for more than seven years, it supports people recovering from substance use disorder through personalized, compassionate care designed to promote lasting wellness. Its team includes board-certified physicians, master’s-level clinicians, and certified recovery coaches, combining medical oversight with evidence-based counseling and holistic support.

Programs include Level 2.5 partial hospitalization, with intensive daytime therapy five days a week; Level 2.1 intensive outpatient care, offering evening and weekend groups; and Level 1 outpatient counseling through individual and group sessions. Torch also provides a Level 3.1 low-intensity residential program for men, combining clinical services with practical life-skills coaching. Treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. Individualized plans reflect each person’s strengths, needs, and goals. Family education, aftercare coaching, and an alumni network help support ongoing recovery. Torch Treatment Center operates an outpatient center in Silver Spring and a men’s residential campus in Frederick, Maryland.
