Our retreat is a blend of authentic Icelandic style and relaxed eco-luxury, inspired by the architecture of the Icelandic Viking farm at nearby Stöng. Our cozy, wooden-lined Torfhús residences and Torfbaer suites offer privacy, rustic luxury, and spectacular views over volcanic plains to snow-capped mountains and the Langjökull glacier.
Each Torfhús comes fully equipped with a kitchen, spacious living room, private basalt stone hot pool, and veranda. The Torfbær Suite offers a luxurious bedroom, bathroom, living area, and a geothermically heated basalt stone hot pool shared between three suites. Our cuisine is inspired by Icelandic tradition and uses the finest, freshest local ingredients.
