TORKS

The Ohio Radio Kontrol Society (TORKS) is a nonprofit remote-control aviation club and an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)-chartered organization. Its purpose is to promote interest in model aviation, maintain a flying field, organize flying contests, and support its members. The club welcomes people interested in RC aircraft and offers flight training, club activities, and a community where members can share knowledge and help with projects.

TORKS operates its model airfield at 14403 Crownover Mill Road in New Holland, Ohio. The field features an updated, paved runway measuring 900 feet by 60 feet, designed to accommodate a range of RC aircraft, including electric, gas-powered, and turbine models. The club also shares field information, rules, photos, newsletters, and a calendar of activities through its website. Regular club meetings are listed at the airfield, alongside other events when scheduled. Prospective members can find information about joining or renewing membership, while current members can access club resources and connect with fellow model aviation enthusiasts.
