Tornado Youth Hockey

Tornado Youth Hockey Association (TYH) is a community youth sports organization dedicated to teaching and promoting a love of ice hockey. It serves children in Onalaska, Holmen, and the nearby communities of Trempealeau and Galesville, Wisconsin. Programs are available for boys and girls ages 4 through 14, with opportunities for players at all ability levels. TYH emphasizes children’s continued personal growth and aims to provide positive sporting experiences they can remember.

The association is based at the Onalaska Omni Center, an indoor sports facility with two ice surfaces. The rink supports developmental hockey programs, team practices and games, open public skating, and regional tournaments. TYH also shares information about seasonal development camps, tryouts, and ways to get involved, including referee opportunities. Its website provides team and program details, registration information, board meeting minutes, and safety resources. These include concussion reporting guidance and SafeSport information, reflecting the association’s attention to player wellbeing alongside skill development and participation in the sport.
