About Torneo dei Rioni
Torneo dei Rioni is a community event organized by Associazione Culturale Giovani Informazione APS ASD in Carmiano and Magliano, in the province of Lecce, Puglia, Italy. The 2026 edition runs from July 24 to August 1 under the theme “Sport. Music.
Culture. ” Its central competition brings together the area’s eight districts, or rioni, to compete across 16 sporting disciplines. Activities listed include five-a-side football, basketball contests, table football, bocce and burraco, alongside other events.
Visitors can explore sport schedules and standings and use a map to find which district they belong to. The program also extends beyond sport: the TDR Festival features live music, while cultural activities and entertainment contribute to a wider celebration of local community life. The event is organized and supported by more than 100 volunteers from Giovani Informazione APS ASD.
Through competitions, performances and shared activities, Torneo dei Rioni offers residents and visitors a lively way to take part in the traditions and collective spirit of the Carmiano area
