Tornion Jousiampujat is an archery club based in Tornio, Finland, founded in 1981. A member of the Finnish Archery Association, the club promotes recreational archery and competitive shooting in Tornio and nearby areas. It welcomes experienced archers as well as beginners who have completed an introductory course, with coaching and supervised practice available. The stated minimum age for participation is 12.
Training takes place at Putaan Sports Hall during winter and at the Näränperä archery range in summer. The club shares updates about practice times and venue changes through its Facebook page. Archery is presented as a skill-based activity that develops concentration and can be enjoyed by people of different ages, including families.
The club also organizes competitions, usually holding four events each year, with two in winter. Its calendar includes major outdoor events: in 2026, Tornion Jousiampujat plans to host the Finnish FITA Championships, featuring the 1440 round, as well as a world-record-eligible double border competition. The club invites prospective members to explore archery and get involved.
