About American Museum of Tort Law
The American Museum of Tort Law is the nationally acclaimed brand that aims to educate, inform, and inspire Americans about two crucial aspects: trial by jury and the benefits of tort law. As the law of wrongful injuries, tort law encompasses cases of defective products, medical malpractice, environmental disasters, and more. Trial by jury is a fundamental American right, guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.
Within the museum, visitors have the opportunity to learn about tort law and trial by jury through a variety of exhibits. One gallery showcases precedent-setting cases, while another features dangerous toys. Interactive panels allow visitors to delve into seven cases in detail.
The museum also offers a theater experience, with a brief movie highlighting the evolution and importance of trial by jury and tort law. Explore the main gallery to discover landmark cases like the Ford Pinto, Liebeck v. McDonald's, and tobacco and asbestos litigation, all of which have had far-reaching impacts.
Join us at the American Museum of Tort Law to witness how tort law and trial by jury have improved the lives of both the injured and society as a whole
