Total Ag rural consultants are founded on putting farmer clients first. Total Ag directors Rob Macnab and Aaron Baker and consultants Heather Gilbert and Matt Bartleet are committed to delivering high quality, timely and effective farm consulting services that ensure you, your farm and your family enjoy success - in every sense. Total Ag consultants offer their clients an insightful, broad based level of farm and farm advisory experience. Between them they have covered the spectrum of pastoral farming businesses and have an understanding of farm operations, literally from the ground up. This is thanks to over 14 combined years in soil fertility and fertiliser advisory roles, and 14 combined years in the rural banking sector. Both have worked closely with farm clients of both Ballance Agri-Nutrients and Rabobank in that time. Building on the foundation good nutrient understanding developed at Ballance Agri-Nutrients bought, Aaron and Rob have both built a sound knowledge of farm financing through their work at Rabobank in Northland, Waikato and the South Island. Their experience has meant they are comfortable working with a diverse range of pastoral and horticultural clients. Today they see it as a natural progression to combine their experience with soil fertility, animal nutrition and banking to help farmers “complete the circle” in their farm businesses. That is linking sound soil, pasture and stock management to successful financial management – and in turn getting an understanding of their clients’ personal and family motivations to help develop outcomes to ensure the farm’s sustainability for this generation, and those following.
