Totally Fascinating is a bespoke millinery brand based in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire, founded by experienced milliner Debbie Greig. The business creates original, one-off headpieces designed to suit each client’s outfit, face shape, hairstyle, personal style and occasion. Its designs include fascinators, hatinators, cocktail hats, percher hats and larger hats, for weddings, ladies’ days and other special events.
Clients can choose a bespoke design or explore ready-made pieces, with personal advice and a consultation to discuss styles, materials and how a headpiece will be worn. Debbie’s interest in millinery began after seeing race-day creations in Australia, and she developed her skills through independent study and a hat-blocking course. She is a registered member of the British Millinery Association and continues to develop her techniques.
Each bespoke piece is carefully crafted, with making time varying by design; some involve between five and twenty hours of work. The stated lead time for bespoke headpieces is currently six weeks, with clients invited to enquire about urgent requests
