Turun Opiskelijain tukisäätiö, also known as TOT-säätiö, is a Finnish foundation established by decision of the Ministry of Justice on 1 April 1979. Its purpose is to support adult students studying in the city of Turku who have achieved success in their studies. The foundation advances this mission by awarding grants and scholarships, including research grants.
Applications are submitted through the foundation’s website. The stated application period for general grants in 2027 is 1–18 April, while research grant applications are accepted from 1–30 September 2027. The foundation and its decisions, as well as the implementation of its founding charter, are supervised by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.
Its board includes a chair, deputy chair and members, with the foundation’s secretary also serving as managing director. Through its funding, TOT-säätiö provides financial support to eligible students and researchers pursuing their studies in Turku
