Tough Viking is a Swedish obstacle-race brand presenting itself as Scandinavia’s first and largest event of its kind. Drawing on a heritage connected to Swedish armed elite forces, it stages races at prominent venues, including Stockholm Olympic Stadium, Kungliga Djurgården in Stockholm and Slottsskogen in Gothenburg. Its events combine running with physical and technical obstacles, with courses and distances suited to different levels of challenge.
The 2027 programme includes 8 km races in Gothenburg and at Stockholm Stadion, a 15 km race on Djurgården, and a compact 5 km event built around selected obstacles from the longer course. Tough Viking also offers children’s races and hosts the OCR Swedish Championships, featuring a 12 km course with about 30 obstacles and several championship classes. Participants can enter individually or in Duo, Trio and larger Team categories, with invoice registration available to companies registering at least 10 people.
Beyond race entries, Tough Viking provides race information, preparation guidance, results and a webshop selling branded apparel, including T-shirts and long-sleeved shirts.
