Tour de Manc is a not-for-profit charity cycling event and registered charity founded in 2016 to use cycling as a force for good across Greater Manchester. It brings together riders of all abilities to enjoy the region’s roads, challenge themselves and raise funds for local charities and community projects. The event also promotes fitness, health, confidence and wellbeing, with a welcoming community supported by volunteers, sponsors and feed stations.
Riders can choose from four routes to match their experience and ambitions: the Northern Quarter, a 60km option aimed at newer cyclists; the 112km Manc Challenge; the 160km Classic Manc; and the demanding 200km Mad Manc. Routes feature varied distances, climbing and views across Manchester and the Pennine hills. Tour de Manc provides event registration, route information, rider resources, news and opportunities to volunteer, sponsor or support its charitable work. Its broader programme includes Velo Manc, a virtual and do-it-yourself Tour de Manc, and Mini Manc.
