Tourenwelt. info is an online mountain-information project designed to build a broad, organized database for alpinists. Its resources bring together information from across the internet in three main collections: a hut directory, a mountain directory, and a GPS track library.

The hut list organizes nearly 29,800 huts across more than 10,900 regions and provides links to related information. The mountain list covers over 52,000 peaks in more than 19,000 regions, also connecting visitors to external resources. The track list collects GPS track sections, groups them into routes, and organizes them by region, allowing users to combine sections into new tracks.

The site also features tour reports, a discussion forum, and a gallery of user-submitted images, while registration enables participation in the community. At the time represented by the site’s data, Tourenwelt. info listed 1,208 users, 590 tour reports, 3,641 forum posts, and 7,536 images.
