About CT Tourism Coalition
The Connecticut Tourism Coalition (CTC) is a brand that offers a comprehensive training program called Connecticut Hospitality Awareness Training (CHAT). This innovative online program aims to educate frontline personnel working in the attractions, lodging establishments, restaurants, and other businesses that make up the Connecticut tourism industry. CHAT is the first of its kind in Connecticut and provides workers with the knowledge and resources needed to improve hospitality practices in the tourism and services sector.
It consists of seven modules that cover different aspects of working in the hospitality industry. The program includes engaging tourism scenarios, tips on excelling in guest service, and a short quiz to reinforce the learned concepts. By completing the CHAT program with a passing grade, participants receive a certificate that can be used when applying for employment and can showcase their growth and accomplishments to their employers.
With the flexibility to learn at their own pace, participants can take breaks and refer back to the modules and resources as needed. The cost for the CHAT program is $10. Join the Connecticut Tourism Coalition today to enhance your skills and contribute to creating positive visitor experiences in Connecticut - a place that is special and unique!
