Tows and Tails Sanctuary is a licensed rescue dedicated to raccoons with disabilities. The sanctuary welcomes these animals as they are, providing a place where their individual needs and qualities are accepted. Its work also helps people learn about wildlife and better understand the remarkable nature of raccoons.
Crystal, a raccoon at the sanctuary, serves as its ambassador. Through her story, she helps introduce people to raccoons and share the sanctuary’s message of acceptance. Crystal has also written a book about her special story, encouraging readers to remember that everyone is special, loved, and accepted. The book offers a personal way to engage with the sanctuary’s values and learn more about Crystal.
Tows and Tails Sanctuary’s website features Crystal and her story, along with a shop for visitors interested in exploring its offerings. Together, its rescue work, wildlife education, and Crystal’s book present a compassionate perspective on raccoons with disabilities and the importance of recognizing each individual’s worth.
