About TPO Uganda
TPO Uganda is a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to restoring hope and transforming lives. They started their work in Uganda in 1994 as the Institute for Psychosocial and Social Ecological Research (I. P.
S. E. R), conducting a study on the mental health and psychosocial issues affecting South Sudanese refugees, commissioned by UNHCR.
Recognizing the significant need for mental health and psychosocial support, TPO expanded its programs not only in Uganda but also in other countries, such as Somalia, South Sudan, Congo, and Liberia. TPO Uganda offers a wide range of services and programs to empower communities and improve mental health and socio-economic wellbeing. Their work covers mental, neurological, and substance use disorders, child care and protection, gender-based violence prevention and mitigation, HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support, livelihood support, disaster risk prevention and response, and organizational development and sustainability.
Through their dedicated efforts, TPO Uganda strives to create a society where individuals can enjoy both mental health and socio-economic wellbeing. Join them in their mission to make a positive impact on communities and change lives for the better
