The Presidential Prayer Team is a nonpartisan, member-supported nonprofit ministry that has encouraged prayer for the President and national leaders since 2001. Its mission is to invite people across the country to pray for America and for those serving in positions of authority, without endorsing or supporting their political viewpoints or actions. The organization offers a 24/7 prayer ministry, daily prayer highlights featuring elected and appointed officials, and information about leaders’ responsibilities and public schedules.
Visitors can also read timely prayer updates on government and national affairs, along with the Vantage Point devotional, which presents faith-based reflections. The website provides featured prayer profiles for executive, legislative, judicial, and military leaders, and invites readers to join in prayer for each. Supporters can make donations to help sustain the ministry, and the organization provides member services and contact options by phone, mail, and email.
The Presidential Prayer Team is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, reports independent annual audits, and states that it is rated by two national accreditation groups
