TRA BMX

TRA BMX is a private, nonprofit organization that brings BMX and mountain bike riders together through trail riding, racing, and community events. Based around its compound in Macungie, Pennsylvania, TRA hosts the annual Double Cross and Dirt Jump Comp, a pro invitational fundraiser that welcomes competitors and spectators for a family-friendly, alcohol-free event. Its signature Double Cross is a head-to-head downhill trail race with separate 20-inch and 26-inch classes, while the open-wheel dirt jump competition gives professional and amateur riders a chance to showcase their skills on the same course.

The purpose-built track features large bowl jumps and continuous downhill trail action, with course construction by Dirtsculpt. TRA’s events also include youth and amateur categories, cash prizes, trophies, and awards. The organization describes the competition as a meeting place for riders, industry members, media, and dirt park and BMX track operators, combining a backyard atmosphere with broad participation.
