About Trace Labs
Trace Labs is a nonprofit organization that aims to accelerate the reunion of missing persons with their families. They achieve this mission by training individuals in the trade craft of open-source intelligence (OSINT) while leveraging the power of a global community. The core team at Trace Labs works closely with this community to achieve their common goal.
Led by founder Robert Sell, the team includes Tom Hocker, Harpreet Mangat, Sean Sun, Vince Hillier, Jason Kregting, Chase Matheson, and Gyle dela Cruz. Together, they utilize OSINT techniques to locate missing persons and provide valuable intelligence to law enforcement agencies. In addition to their crowdsourced OSINT efforts, Trace Labs also offers a specialized VM for OSINT investigations.
The organization is supported by sponsors and partners who share their mission. By becoming a part of the Trace Labs community, individuals can actively contribute to finding missing persons and making a difference in the world
