Traditional Muaythai School is a martial arts and fitness school in Chilliwack, British Columbia, serving members across the Fraser Valley. The school teaches traditional Muaythai, known as the βArt of 8 Limbs,β which uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes. While it welcomes people interested in competing, its focus is not limited to competitive fighters; its programs also support fitness, skill development, and practical self-defence.
Classes are available for different ages and needs. Muay Tykes introduces children aged five to six to bag work, fitness, strength, and flexibility. Kidsβ classes for ages seven to 13 emphasize cardio, respect, and discipline, while teen sessions focus on fitness, coordination, speed, and agility. Adults can develop attributes such as balance, endurance, power, and strength, and womenβs-only classes offer full-body conditioning. A morning cardio program provides another workout option.
The school highlights benefits including cardiovascular conditioning, stronger core and leg muscles, and stress relief. It also sells branded apparel, including tank tops, T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and baseball hats.
