DB Tragédky is a women’s dragon boat team based in Malá Chuchle, Prague, and operated by the association DBT z.s. With the motto “Being a Tragédka isn’t tragic,” the team combines competitive paddling with camaraderie, humor, and memorable experiences. Its members train together and compete in women’s, mixed, and small-boat categories at events across the Czech Republic and abroad. The team’s history includes strong results at Czech and Moravian championships, the Prague Dragon Boat Festival, and the European Club Crew Championships.
Tragédky welcomes sport-minded women aged 18 to 50 who can make time for regular training and races. Practices take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Newcomers are invited to bring sports clothes they do not mind getting wet and join a session. The team also hosts Tragically Long Tracks, a dragon boat event featuring sprint and endurance races, including mass-start formats. Through its website and social media, DB Tragédky shares race schedules, results, event information, and photographs, and invites prospective members, supporters, and sponsors to get in touch.
