Die Trageschule® Österreich und Schweiz is an independent organisation focused on education and support around carrying babies and young children. Established in 2011, it draws on the experience of its Dresden sister organisation, founded in 1999, and an international network, as well as guidance from a medical advisory board. Its work responds to questions from parents and professionals by training babywearing consultants and providing instruction for professional groups.

The organisation offers foundational and advanced courses, certification, continuing education, and training for licensed instructors. Course formats include in-person blocks, programmes combining online sessions with a practical day, and fully online learning, allowing participants to choose an approach suited to their needs. Training covers carrying techniques and related theory, while certification includes assessment and opportunities for feedback.

Beyond courses, Die Trageschule provides information and consultation on babywearing, hosts regular online information evenings, and presents recorded Spotlight sessions on carriers, manufacturers, products, and related topics. These sessions are available individually or through a subscription.
