About TrailBound Project
TrailBound Project is a New Jersey outdoor education community offering hiking and backpacking courses, events, and challenges for people at every experience level. Its programs cover practical outdoor skills, including navigation and first aid, and are run by search and rescue professionals. Whether participants are new to hiking or experienced outdoorspeople, they can learn, build confidence, and connect with others who share an interest in the wilderness.
The organization also hosts Dirt Time, a free monthly gathering open to everyone. Participants can work on outdoor skills, meet potential hiking partners, share food and experiences, and enjoy time around a campfire. TrailBound Project encourages members to develop the skills and carry the gear needed to help people they encounter in the woods. It also donates a percentage of its profits to local wilderness search and rescue teams and follows Leave No Trace principles to help protect outdoor spaces for future generations.
