Trail des Marcaires is an annual trail-running event based in Muhlbach, France, offering races and outdoor activities across the Munster Valley and the surrounding Vosges mountains. The event features several distances to suit different abilities, from a demanding 65 km mountain trail to shorter races, a relay, a youth trail and a non-timed walk. Routes pass through notable landscapes, including the Wormsa Valley and the Fischboedlé, Schiessrothried and Altenweiher lakes, on marked courses that combine paths, technical sections and significant climbs.

The main events include the 65 km Trail des Marcaires, the 32 km Défi de Muhlbach, the 12 km P’tite Course des Marcaires and the two-runner Relais des Marcaires. Young participants can enter the Jung’s Trail, with distances for minimes and cadets. The P’tite Marche follows the short-course route without timing or rankings. Some race entries include an end-of-course meal, and selected trails offer ITRA and UTMB index points.
