Trail Of Tails

Trail of Tails is a volunteer-run, foster-based animal rescue network in Kennett, Missouri, dedicated to helping cats and kittens find safe, loving homes. Its work includes caring for animals in foster homes, arranging essential medical treatment as funds allow, and partnering with licensed rescues and adoption agencies across Missouri and Arkansas. Through adoption programs, the organization helps match cats and dogs with families, using screening and counseling to support successful placements.

Trail of Tails also works to improve animal welfare in the community. Its services and initiatives include spay and neuter care, medical support such as vaccinations and emergency treatment, and Trap-Neuter-Return projects for community cats. The organization shares practical animal-care information and promotes responsible pet ownership through outreach, educational activities, and community engagement. Volunteers help care for animals, organize events, and raise awareness, while donations and local fundraisers support its rescue work. Guided by its message, “Foster. Heal. Connect. Adopt,” Trail of Tails gives animals in need a chance at a healthier life and a permanent home.
