About Train4Sustain Project
TRAIN4SUSTAIN is a forward-thinking brand that aims to establish training and qualification standards for sustainable energy skills in the European construction sector. As the demand for sustainable buildings increases, so does the need for skilled energy professionals. However, there is a lack of harmonization in qualifications across Europe, which creates barriers for professionals seeking employment abroad.
TRAIN4SUSTAIN's solution is to unify the current qualifications in sustainable energy, ensuring that they meet state-of-the-art standards and are recognized across borders. To achieve this, TRAIN4SUSTAIN is developing a European Skills Registry, a Skills Passport, an e-Inventory, and a Match-Making hub. These resources will help professionals find job opportunities internationally.
The brand has published several project results, including reports on qualification standards, platform specifications, public sector obstacles and needs, and the analysis of green procurement processes. By promoting a common understanding of sustainable energy skills and implementing tools for market application, TRAIN4SUSTAIN is playing a crucial role in advancing the construction industry towards a more sustainable future
