Trainee Vestfold og Telemark

Trainee Vestfold og Telemark connects recent master’s graduates with businesses and public-sector organisations seeking fresh skills and new perspectives. Its 18-month trainee programme gives participants the opportunity to work in one to three member organisations across the region, build professional networks and gain practical experience while contributing to future-focused solutions. The programme welcomes graduates from a wide range of disciplines, including technology, digitalisation, engineering, economics, communications, social sciences, environmental management and the humanities.

For participating organisations, the programme offers a structured way to explore a graduate’s expertise and potential while supporting recruitment and regional development. Trainee Vestfold og Telemark has operated since 2014 and reports that many participants have chosen to remain in the region and with their placement organisation. Applications are generally invited twice a year, with intakes guided by application deadlines in March and September and expected starts in September and March, respectively. The organisation also supports its member network and shares information about trainee opportunities, participating employers and programme activity.
