About TRAKEL
TRAKEL is a Turkish-language website dedicated to documenting and sharing information about butterfly species living in Turkey in their natural environments. Its stated aim is to collect information about these butterflies anonymously and make it available to others, supporting greater awareness of the country’s butterfly diversity. The site brings together butterfly photographs and detailed Turkish-language information about species, offering visitors a place to explore and learn.
Its resources include a photo gallery, a photo forum and discussion forums focused on butterflies, where users can view images and participate in exchanges about the subject. TRAKEL also features an exhibition and lists of butterfly species by province, helping visitors browse information according to location. A homepage and contact section provide ways to navigate the site and get in touch.
Overall, TRAKEL serves as an online information and sharing resource for people interested in Turkey’s butterflies, combining species-related content, photography, regional lists and community discussion in one destination
