Transfaire LH is a volunteer association in Normandy dedicated to supporting families, caregivers and adults affected by disability. Its members include people with personal experience of disability as well as others who are committed to helping. The association welcomes and assists people across a wide range of situations, including sensory, psychological, intellectual and physical disabilities, and disabling illnesses.
Guided by the values of welcoming, accompanying and helping, Transfaire LH seeks to reduce isolation and ensure that people are not defined by their differences. It works to support families as they navigate the daily challenges of disability and advocates for quality care, social recognition, access to education and inclusion. The association also takes part in local initiatives focused on disability awareness, information and training, with the aim of encouraging inclusion in family, social and professional life. Its activities include relaxation sessions, with sessions listed for 2026. Through mutual support and community involvement, Transfaire LH aims to help change perceptions of disability and contribute to a more inclusive society.
