Transit Maps is a brand dedicated to the design and social impact of transit maps. They offer a variety of maps, including subway maps, metro maps, bus maps, rail maps, and ferry maps. With a focus on user experience, Transit Maps aims to harmonize the transit journey for users across different modes of transportation.
Recently, they have introduced a new suite of maps and wayfinding signage that has been in development since 2018. These new maps, based on Montréal's iconic black background Métro map, feature improvements such as mixed-case station labels, numbered bullets for both Métro and suburban rail lines, and a palette of pastel colors for other services. The maps also showcase future developments, such as the branches of the REM line and the expansion of Line 5.
With a strong unified wayfinding and signage program, Transit Maps pays homage to the past while confidently looking ahead to the future of transit in Montréal
