TransKarachi is a brand that is revolutionizing public transportation in Pakistan, specifically in Karachi. As a Public Sector Company owned by the Government of Sindh, TransKarachi is the implementation agency responsible for the management and maintenance of the groundbreaking Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line project. This state-of-the-art mass transit system stretches over 26.5 kilometers, promoting the use of quality public transport and benefiting 1.5 million people.

TransKarachi's Red Line project is Pakistan's first zero-emission BRT corridor, operating without any subsidy. With 200+ buses in their fleet, TransKarachi ensures 24x7 security and surveillance through CCTV monitoring, ensuring safe ridership for passengers. The BRT system also promotes inclusivity with platform level boarding, separate compartments for females and transgenders equipped with CCTV cameras, and a panic button for reporting issues.

The brand also prioritizes sustainability, using clean vehicle technology with bio hybrid buses and a waste-to-fuel system that generates bio methane from cattle waste. To enhance the passenger experience, TransKarachi offers a dedicated mobile application for journey planning, fare payment, and issue reporting.

When completed, the Karachi BRT Red Line will directly benefit 1.5 million people with an expected daily ridership of 350,000.
