Transparent Nevada is a brand that provides accurate and comprehensive information on the compensation of public employees in Nevada. It is a public service initiative by the Nevada Policy Research Institute, a free-market think tank dedicated to seeking private solutions to public challenges. Transparent Nevada's website offers easily searchable data on Nevada's public employee salaries and pensions, aiming to increase public understanding of government and help decision-makers make informed choices.

The site is designed to provide complete and accurate information, allowing citizens, elected officials, and voters to access transparent and reliable data. Inspired by the success of Transparent Nevada, the Nevada Policy Research Institute launched Transparent California in 2014. Both websites contribute to the Institute's mission of promoting free-market principles and educating the public on the significance of fiscal policy and education.

Transparent Nevada is funded through the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations, and family trusts, with most contributions coming from NPRI members. To learn more about Transparent Nevada or the Nevada Policy Research Institute, visit their website or contact them directly
