About T&E
Transport & Environment is Europe's leading NGO campaigning for cleaner transport. Their vision is a zero-emission mobility system that is affordable and has minimal impacts on our health, climate, and environment. With over 30 years of experience, they have played a pivotal role in shaping some of Europe's most important environmental laws, such as setting ambitious CO2 standards for cars and trucks and uncovering the dieselgate scandal.
They have successfully campaigned to end the use of palm oil diesel, secured a global ban on dirty shipping fuels, and created the world's largest carbon market for aviation. In 2022, their campaigning led to the agreement to end the sales of new combustion engine cars and vans by 2035.
