TransWave Jamaica is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting the health, welfare, and well-being of the transgender community in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Established in 2015, our journey began as an advocacy initiative in the form of a blog inspired by a workshop hosted by WE-Change Jamaica and partners. We believe in fostering acceptance, diversity, and empowerment for the transgender community.

At TransWave Jamaica, we offer a range of resources and services to support our mission. Our team of dedicated individuals works tirelessly to provide information and support through annual reports, policy briefs, newsletters, publications, and reports & guides. We also implement impactful media campaigns and maintain a comprehensive photo and video gallery.

One of our key initiatives is the Trans and Gender Non-Conforming National Health Strategy, a five-year rights-based plan designed to advance the health and well-being of trans people.
